Final reflection.

The PBL is rather ok. For those who are exposed to computers be it software or hardware related before the module, it will be too easy for them. Anyway, for pbl1, most of the problems are too general. If we were to give solutions, the list can be rather endless. It will be much better if there is a flow chart. eg: if we were to do this, restarting the computer, what will happen etc.

The size of 40 is ok. Although students may be busy with other "stuff" with their laptops.

I would love to see a shorter workshop session. Most of the time, we finished what we are supposed to do before the actual time is up. Leave all the discuss in non-lesson timing. This may help the students to learn to manage their time.

The thing which i find the most useful is dreamweaver. Coz that's the only program i do not know how to use before the module. After i get the hang of it, i actually created a personal webpage for my team.

Topic 4 & 5

The topics are interesting actually. But i was disappointed that i did not learn anything new. As usual, i know almost everything before the lecture.

PBL2:

Those problems are too general. If i were to try to troubleshoot, without any follow-up, (as in i tell user to do this, i need to know the result) before i can really give the next step on what to do.

Therefore, i just did a rather general answers for all the problems. I did not reseach any information because i actually know what's happening. I know the solutions but i may not really know how to explain.

Anyway, i think my group did well for PBL2 coz the tutor said our solutions are not bad. (kudos to me ahah)

PBL1: Reflection, what i feel.

We do not understand what the question is asking about in the beginning. There's this 1st exercise which said state the thing which you do not know. Normally, people know what they know, but they will not know what they do not know.

Luckily after the explanation by our tutor, i get to understand the problem. & i actually know what to do already. I guide my group the whole PBL1. I decided to do something different from other people by having DIY computers.

Overall i think my group did a pretty good job except we are not that well prepared for the presentation as i was oversea during the actual day.
